HaPI mid-year picnic (June) was a lovely opportunity to relax and celebrate recent achievements within the lab.

Our traditional HaPI end of year picnic (2024) is always a great opportunity to reflect and celebrate upon the achievements of the year (not pictured here was the amazing spread of food brought by our lab members)!

Congratulations to our HaPI lab members for their recent milestone achievements in November. Nick completed his TCRM, and Tenelle and Lindsy completed their confirmation!

2022

For our mid-year social event, we painted Audrey Hepburn and Frida Kahlo (or at least tried to). It was good to throw some paint on the canvas with some quality wine and even better company.

Congratulations to our two mother-daughter teams for finishing the 13.5km Border Bolt fun run!

Traditional end-of-year (2022) HaPI picnic. It’s always good to celebrate the end of another fantastic year with our HaPI family. Congratulations to everyone for all your achievements and may 2023 bring many more!

Some big smiles after a productive day at the second quarterly HaPI lab writing retreat at Southbank. The only thing better than blocking out an entire day for writing is celebrating together at the end of the day.

Prof Kyra Hamilton with Olivier Klein and Olivier Luminet, who presented on health-helated motivations during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was fascinating to hear of the health-related motivations in Belgium during the pandemic and the strategies involved to communicate findings with relevant governments and institutions.

2021

April social event was axe throwing…who knew it could be so much fun! HaPI Team member Nick got his name on the board, which required a score of 80 or above (perfect score 125). So important to stay connected and have fun while also staying safe, especially while throwing axes.

Traditional end of year (2021) HaPI picnic. We continue to grow (despite less people in photo this year due to members who could not attend). We even have our first baby as part of the group. Our HaPI family always extends to those who support us. Bring on 2022!
